Fraction Baud Rate UART
The Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter provides a fully featured serial interface for an embedded system.
The configurable FIFO depth ensures that the UART can be dimensioned for the application, and the software overhead of serial communicaiton can be optimised without risking losing characters.
The independent transmit and receive interrutps simplify the software architecture.
The sophisticated fractional divider, which includes 4 software selectable clock sources, ensures flexibility and accuracy in baud rate generation.
