Trace Buffer
The APS3 Trace Buffer provides full featured execution trace facility to the Cortus APS3 family of processors.
A private memory buffer stores execution information, allowing debugging software to later examine the program execution.
All key events during program execution are captured in a generous buffer, which can be later extracted and analysed
with utility software giving a souce code interleaved tracing of the program execution.
A typical trace buffer output can see seen here: Example Trace
The APS3 Trace Buffer has the following features:
- 1024 trace entries
- Program flow tracing
- Register writes traced (optional)
- Program control
- JTAG control
- Standard APS bus interface
