The uCLinux is available for the APS3 family of processors.

uCLinux is ideally suited to systems that do not require an MMU. It is based on the latest Linux kernels and offers a familiar operating environment adapted to embedded systems of all sizes.

The excellent code density of the APS3 family means that a the uCLinux kernel with preemption enabled fits into 1MByte of ROM, requiring 1.1MByte of RAM. Essential applications fit into a 100KByte ROMFS.

Multithreaded preemptive scheduling ensures real-time response and multi-tasking.
