AHB-Lite™ Bridge
The AHB-Lite™ Bridge enables the Cortus processors to interface with legacy memory interfaces and peripherals that have an AHB-Lite™ interface.
Both slave and master interfaces are available; allowing AHB-Lite™ DMA enabled peripherals to access the APS bus and AHB-Lite™ peripherals to be accessed from the APS bus.
The AHB-Lite™ Bridge supports all APS bus transactions including multi-cycle waits.
8, 16 and 32 bit AHB-Lite transactions are supported and it is little endian.
The AHB-Lite™ Bridge has the following features:
- Support legacy interfaces in a Cortus APS system
- Mix Cortus standard peripherals with existing IP
- 8, 16 and 32 bit transfers supported
Retain investment made in legacy IP and software knowledge and still take advantage of the Cortus APS family (APS1, APS3, ASP5) and FPS (FPS6) technologies!
